Chandigarh: In a spectacular display of gratitude and generosity, Chandigarh-based entrepreneur MK Bhatia has gifted 51 brand-new cars to his employees this Diwali. The founder of Mits Healthcare in Panchkula personally handed over the keys to his top-performing team members this week, marking his third consecutive year of gifting cars to his staff.

Calling the initiative his “half-century” of gifting, Bhatia said the gesture is his way of recognising the hard work and dedication of his associates, who form the backbone of his pharmaceutical ventures.

Celebrating ‘Rockstar Celebrities’

In a heartfelt LinkedIn post, Bhatia explained, “I’ve never called them employees or staff — they are the rockstar celebrities of my filmy life, the stars who make every scene of our journey a blockbuster.”

Sharing pictures of the handover, he added, “Some rides have already arrived, and more are on the way. Stay tuned… this Diwali is going to be extra special!” The event, which included a celebratory “Car Gift Rally” from the showroom to the company’s Mits House Office, left many employees thrilled and inspired.

Bhatia has been gifting cars to his top performers for the last three years, creating a culture of recognition and motivation within his company. This year, the milestone of 51 vehicles is a record, symbolising the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence.

Motivation Behind the Gesture

When asked why he continues to give away such expensive gifts, Bhatia explained, “My associates are the backbone of my pharmaceutical companies. Their hard work, honesty, and dedication are the foundation of our success. Recognising their efforts and motivating them is my only goal — to keep them inspired and driven toward greater heights.”

This philosophy reflects Bhatia’s approach to leadership, where employees are treated as partners in the company’s journey rather than mere staff. By turning the annual Diwali celebration into a moment of recognition, he has set a benchmark for corporate appreciation.

Social Media Reactions

The news of Bhatia’s generosity quickly went viral on social media, garnering praise from users across platforms.

One social media user wrote, “I showed this to my manager and he said this is AI-generated video. Meanwhile, my company just gave a very small jar of dry fruits and four diyas for Diwali.”

Another commented, “Happy moments for your valuable team members and they are blessed. Kind wishes and lots of happiness.”

A third user expressed admiration for Bhatia’s character, saying, “MK Bhatia ji, we have not seen a person like you in this era. The quality of your behavior is not only praiseworthy but is a gift of God in itself. From what we have heard about you, you have done a wonderful job. We pray to God to give you lots of happiness.”
