DN Recipe: Vegetable Manchow Soup

Winter is in full bloom in the Capital, where people have started bracing up for the winter. 


Dynamite News brings you the recipe of Vegetable Manchow Soup to keep you warm in the winter.  It is an Indo-Chinese recipe.  


To make Manchow Soup it takes 20 to 25 minutes. 


Vegetable Stock           ½ cup
Carrot                            ¼ cup
Cabbage                        ¼ cup
French beans               ¼ cup
Spring onion                ¼ cup
Capsicum                     ¼ cup
Fried Noodles            1/3 cup
Mushroom                   ¼ cup
Chopped ginger garlic and green chilly    1 teaspoon
Vinegar                          1 tablespoon
Soya Sauce                    1 tablespoon 
Salt                                 as per taste
Corn flour                     1 tablespoon 
Black Pepper                ½ teaspoon
White pepper              ½ teaspoon
Rock salt                       ¼ teaspoon
Butter                           1 teaspoon
Oil                                  2 tablespoon 


Chop all the vegetables finely. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilly.


Now add onion and all the vegetables in the pan, shallow fry the vegetables. Now add water in the pan. 


In a separate bowl mix water and cornflower together and added it in the pan.


Add salt, black pepper, white pepper, vinegar, soya sauce, rock salt and mix it well. Let it be for few minutes.


Let it come to boil and add the vegetable stock. Stir it well till it becomes thick.   


Add noodles while serving the soup. Now garnish it with spring onion.
