Navdeep Singh Suri appointed as next Ambassador of India to UAE

Navdeep Singh Suri has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates on Monday.


Suri is a 1983 batch Indian Foreign Services officer who is presently serving as the Indian High Commissioner to Australia.


He has also served in India's diplomatic missions to Cairo, Damascus, Washington DC, Dar es Salaam and London and as India's Consul General in Johannesburg.


Suri will succeed T.P. Seetharam.


He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. (ANI)
