At least three people were killed and two people, including a policeman, were injured in a shootout in the Pakistan port city of Karachi, the media reported on Monday.

According to ARY News, a police team raided a house in Banaras and encountered an exchange of fire. Police officials blamed the fighting on an old dispute over the ownership of the house. Salman Shah, brother of one of the injured, said more than 12 armed men tried to enter the house to force them to vacate the premises. (UNI)
