Thiruvananthapuram: Meteorological Department here has warned heavy rainfall (7-11 CM) is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala on Friday.
Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds (wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph) and lightning at isolated places is very likely in the state today and Saturday, sources in Met said.
The maximum temperature is very likely to be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha and Palakkad districts on April 19, sources added.
