Sanjay Raut: Would file petition for inquiry into INS Vikrant scam

Kolhapur: Shiv Sena (Thackeray) senior leader and MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday warned that he would file a plea against the alleged INS Vikrant scam by Bhartiya Janata party (BJP) senior leader Kirit Somayya and other 28 'thiefs', who have got the clean chits after changed rules by the state.

At a press conference this morning, Raut, who was on a two day visit to the city, said that Somayya has collected crores of rupees to save Indian Navy's 'INS-Vikrant'

Somayya, he said that he would deposit the amount to state governor office, which was not deposited yet and then state government has ordered to inquiry about this issue but after Shinde-Phadnvis government came to power, the ongoing inquiry was stopped with giving clean cheat through EOW and also gave clean cheat to other 28 'thiefs' with same method. With considering this, he has decided to file a plea again in the court against this scam.

Raut said that those, who opposing the goverment, jailed with booked under bogus cases but such peoples who giving trouble to opposition, would have to give their accounts in coming elections in next year.

He said that even Mumbai commissioner Ikbal Sinh has cleared that then chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has worked good during Covid but ruling party leaders were giving trouble to Mr Thackeray with demanding inquiry of allegedly corruption during the Corona regime, but he claimed that there was not any scam. Mr Somayya should file criminal case on Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mr Yougi, where the number of peoples had died due to Corona.

On recently unfortunate incident of number of cows dead at Siddhagiri Kaneri Math during the Sumangalam Panchamahabhutam Lokostav', due to eating stale food, Mr Raut it was the same case of death of Sadhus in Palghar. He expressed shocked that after chief minister Eknath Shinde and BJP workers visit to Kaneri Math, such incident had occured.

He said that even state chief minister Mr Shinde and his deputy Devendra Phadnvis were used goverment machinery while compaigning in Kasaba and Chinchvad by-election, Maha Vikas Aghadi in position to win Kasba seat with Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar was leading after 13th round.
