Lucknow/New Delhi: Yogi Adityanath scripted history after taking oath as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister for the second term in office after completing five-year term. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joins him on stage. 

Yogi Adityanath took oath as UP CM in a grand ceremony at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.

 Uttar Pradesh will have two deputy chief ministers - Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya took oath as deputy chief ministers.

Brajesh Pathak, who served as the Law Minister in the last term of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh will be a deputy CM this term.

In 2022 Assembly elections, the BJP retained power in Uttar Pradesh by winning 255 out of 403 constituencies, securing a 41.29 per cent vote share.
