EPFO Set to Launch ATM Withdrawals for PF Accounts by 2026

EPFO to allow ATM withdrawals from PF accounts by January 2026. Aimed at faster access to funds, this move will benefit over 7.8 crore members. Special EPFO-linked cards to be issued.

Big news for salaried employees across India. EPFO is planning to introduce ATM withdrawals for PF accounts.

Currently, PF withdrawals take 4–5 days after online claim. With the new system, money will be available instantly.

The service is expected to roll out by January 2026. This is a key feature under the upcoming EPFO 3.0 plan.

EPFO may issue special ATM cards linked directly to PF accounts.

Users will file an online claim, then withdraw from any ATM.

Over 7.8 crore subscribers will benefit from this initiative.
