New Delhi: Japanese automobile manufacturing giant Toyota is all set to introduce its all-new updated Hilux in India. The Hilux has steadily carved out a niche in the Indian market since its launch in 2022, focusing on buyers who are looking for a rugged off-roader with everyday usability.
With the launch of a new model, the company is likely to focus on a sharper design, a more premium cabin, and additional technology while retaining the pickup’s proven mechanical package.

2026 Toyota Hilux Interior and Cabin

In terms of interiors, the India-specific Hilux is likely to closely mirror the global model, bringing a noticeable leap in tech and quality.
The cabin is expected to feature a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The company is also expected to retain physical buttons for frequently used functions, preserving the pickup’s rugged and user-friendly appeal. The cabin has soft-touch materials, leatherette trim, and an all-black interior theme, giving it a premium feel.

2026 Toyota Hilux Exterior and Design

In terms of exterior and styling, the upcoming pickup is likely to get its most comprehensive visual update yet. The international variant portrays a significantly different front fascia with slimmer LED headlamps and refreshed LED DRLs and a larger rectangular grille finished in gloss black with Toyota branding.
The company has also re-engineered the bumper, adding larger air intakes, a rugged silver skid plate, and vertically positioned LED fog lamps, making the pickup look more muscular.

2026 Toyota Hilux Powertrain

The upcoming updated Hilux is likely to be powered by a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. It is likely to produce 204hp and 420Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual transmission, whereas the 6-speed automatic variant is likely to generate 204hp and 500Nm of torque.

2026 Toyota Hilux Price in India

The upcoming pickup is expected to launch at staring ex-showroom price of Rs 30 lakh and can go up to Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
