2026 Toyota Innova Crysta Launched: What’s new in India’s popular MPV?

New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the updated 2026 Toyota Innova Crysta in India, with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹19.72 lakh. The MPV continues to be positioned as a premium family vehicle with strong demand in both private and commercial segments.

Exterior design updates

The latest version of the Innova Crysta features a redesigned front grille with a more assertive look. Toyota has also revised the front and rear bumper styling, giving the MPV a more refined and muscular road presence. While the overall body design remains unchanged, the cosmetic updates add a fresher appeal to the model.

Interior and feature upgrades

Inside the cabin, the MPV now comes with dual-tone leather upholstery and new Grace Copper accents along with wood-finish inserts on the dashboard and door panels. Toyota has also added features such as a wireless smartphone charger and a tyre pressure monitoring system on select variants.

Other equipment includes a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, steering-mounted controls, and safety features such as seven airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, vehicle stability control, and hill start assist.

Engine and performance

The 2026 Innova Crysta continues to use the 2.4-litre diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motor produces 148 bhp and 343 Nm of torque. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency of up to 15 kmpl, making it suitable for long-distance travel and heavy-duty usage.

Variants and positioning

The MPV is offered in multiple variants including GX, GX+, VX, and ZX trims with both seven- and eight-seater options. Prices go up to ₹26.63 lakh depending on the variant.

With its proven diesel engine and updated features, the Innova Crysta continues to maintain its position as one of India’s most trusted full-size MPVs.
