New Delhi: The new variants are now available across Citroen dealerships in India, giving customers more options to choose between turbo-petrol, naturally aspirated petrol, and electric powertrains.
The Citroen Aircross X range has received two new variants, including the YOU Turbo Comfort Edition, which is priced at Rs 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new variant makes the turbo-petrol engine more accessible for buyers who previously had to opt for higher trims to get the more powerful engine option.
Citroen has also introduced the Aircross X MAX NA variant at Rs 11.62 lakh (ex-showroom). It combines the premium Max trim features with the naturally aspirated petrol engine, offering a more affordable entry point into the higher-spec version.
The existing Aircross X lineup continues with prices starting from Rs 8.89 lakh for the YOU variants.
The Citroen Basalt X coupe SUV has also received new additions. The company has launched the Basalt X YOU Turbo variant with a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
This makes it the most affordable turbo-petrol version of the Basalt X lineup.
Another addition is the Basalt X MAX NA, priced at Rs 11.34 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier, customers looking for the Max trim had to choose the more expensive turbo-petrol option.
Citroen has confirmed that naturally aspirated variants will also be offered with petrol and CNG options, though prices for the CNG versions are yet to be announced.
Alongside its petrol-powered models, Citroen has updated its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the eC3 X Extended.
The upgraded EV now delivers a certified range of 330 km under the MIDC-I/II cycle, up from the earlier claimed 325 km range.
According to Citroen, the improvement comes through efficiency enhancements, while the vehicle continues with the same 29.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The eC3 X Extended produces 143 Nm of torque and comes with a claimed top speed of 107 kmph. It can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6.8 seconds.
The EV supports DC fast charging and can charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in around 57 minutes.
Citroen has also introduced the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option for the eC3 X Extended.
Under the BaaS programme, the electric hatchback starts at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while customers pay a battery usage fee of Rs 2.26 per kilometre.
With the latest updates, Citroen is aiming to strengthen its presence in India's competitive SUV and EV markets by offering more variant choices, affordable pricing, and improved electric range.
