New Delhi: There's great news for Royal Enfield fans. The company is set to launch its updated Guerrilla 450 bike on March 27th. A teaser video released ahead of the launch has generated excitement among bike enthusiasts. This new model is expected to feature several features and technical upgrades.
The updated Guerrilla 450 is expected to include features like cruise control along with the existing ride-by-wire throttle. A traction control system could also be added, providing improved safety on varied roads. A bi-directional quickshifter could also be offered in higher variants.
The bike's suspension setup is also expected to receive improvements. The rear suspension could be retuned with better damping, ensuring a comfortable ride even on rough roads. USD forks may be offered in higher variants, while telescopic forks may remain in the standard variants.
There will be no major design changes. The bike will retain its neo-retro styling, including a round headlight, wide handlebars, and compact design. However, it will be refreshed with new color options, graphics, and finishes.
The new Guerrilla 450 will be powered by a 452cc liquid-cooled engine that produces approximately 40 PS of power and 40 Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch will be standard. Safety features like dual-channel ABS and disc brakes will remain.
Higher variants will feature a 4-inch TFT display with navigation and smartphone connectivity support. Pricing: The current model starts at around ₹2.58 lakh (ex-showroom), with a slight increase expected.
