Bettiah: Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) Supremo Mukesh Sahani are taking part in Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bettiah on Friday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot reached Bettiah on Thursday and took part in the Voter Adhikar Yatra of Congress President Rahul Gandhi. During this, while talking to the media, he strongly condemned the case of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Darbhanga and made it clear that he or the Congress party has nothing to do with this abuse.
The 22 km long road show of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav started in the morning after garlanding the statue of Gandhiji in Hari Vatika, Bettiah. Their convoy reached Gopalganj at 12.15 pm via Moharram Chowk, Ajanta Cinema, Sagar Pokhra Chowk, Imli Chowk, Nautan-Gopalganj Road, Baghi Khadda, Thana Chowk, Nautan Bazaar and Mangalpur Dhala.
The Voter Adhikar Yatra reached West Champaran from Sitamarhi via East Champaran on Thursday. At night, all the leaders had rested at Kudia Kothi near Bettiah and the journey was started again from there in the morning.
There has been a change in the program of the yatra. On Friday, Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders will not stay overnight in Daraunda of Siwan district, but in Ekma of Saran district. The Voter Adhikar Yatra will reach Ekma at around 7:30 pm.
Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikar Yatra will start from Ekma on Saturday, August 30 at 8 am and will reach Bhojpur via Chhapra, where a public meeting is organized in Ara. Former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav can also attend this program.
