New Delhi: Amid the controversy over the upcoming film Phule, director Anuraag Kashyap had stoked another massive controversy by allegedly abusing the Brahmin community.

The film's release was reportedly postponed after a section of the Brahmin community in Maharashtra raised objections about their representation in the film.

Earlier also, Anuraag Kashyap has found himself in controversy. But now, director Anurag Kashyap has apologized for his statement.

Actually, he has apologized for his statement on Brahmins. He has apologized for the abusive language and said – "I apologize for the abusive language, I will work on my anger."

His film "Phule" was going to be released on 25 April, but before that there a controversy erupted over his post on social media regarding the Brahmin community.

However, even at that time when he was trolled a lot, he apologized, but that apology did not seem like he really apologized for his statement.

But now Anurag Kashyap apologizes in clear words and says:

"I apologize for the abusive language I have used." He had expressed anger over the delay in the release date of the film "Phule". See, what the filmmaker has written:

"In anger, while replying to someone, I forgot my limits and spoke badly about the entire Brahmin community. That community, whose many people have been in my life, are still there and contribute a lot. Today, all of them are hurt by me."

Anurag further writes: "My family is hurt by me. Many intellectuals, whom I respect, are hurt by my way of speaking in that anger. I myself deviated from the topic by saying such a thing. I apologize from the bottom of my heart."

"To the society, to whom I did not want to say this, but wrote it in anger while replying to someone's cheap comment. I apologize - to all my colleagues, friends, family and that society, for my way of speaking, for indecent language."

The filmmaker wrote this long post and further said: "I will work on not letting this happen again. I will work on my anger and if I have to talk about the issue, I will use the right words. I hope you will forgive me."
