New Delhi: Abhishek Singh, a 2003 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Nigeria by the government on Thursday. Abhishek Singh will soon take up his charge in Nigeria.
Abhishek Singh is currently posted as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. Earlier, he has been Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Kabul. After his posting in Kabul, he was also appointed as India's Ambassador to the Republic of Venezuela and Bolivia.
