Lucknow: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has promoted eight IAS officers, elevating five of them from the rank of Principal Secretary to Additional Chief Secretary (ACS).
The appointments were approved by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, following which the Appointment Department issued the official orders.

Five Officers Appointed as Additional Chief Secretaries
Out of the eight IAS officers promoted, five have been appointed to the post of Additional Chief Secretary. The promotions are part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and leadership at the top level of governance.
Orders Issued After CM’s Approval
The Department of Appointments confirmed that the promotions and postings were finalized after receiving formal approval from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The changes are effective immediately.
