New Delhi: District Judge Ashish Garg of Ghaziabad tragically passed away today after suffering a fatal heart attack in the hospital washroom. The 52-year-old judicial officer had undergone a hernia surgery at Yashoda Hospital yesterday and was in the recovery phase when the sudden cardiac arrest occurred. His son, who was present at the hospital at the time, witnessed the unfortunate incident.

Ashish Garg served as the District & Sessions Judge of Ghaziabad and previously in Mathura. Born in Muzaffar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, he was appointed to the Higher Judicial Service (HJS). His career included a tenure as Registrar General at the Allahabad High Court for two years. Tragically, he passed away post-hernia surgery due to a heart attack.
