Gorakhpur police reshuffle
Lucknow: With the objective of enhancing public welfare and making law and order more effective, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Kaustubh has implemented significant changes in the operational jurisdictions of police officers within the district, transferring four officers at the Inspector and Sub-Inspector levels.
According to the issued order, all officers have been directed to assume charge at their new postings with immediate effect.
Inspector-in-Charge Appointed for Gola Police Station
According to the transfer list issued by the SSP, Pankaj Kumar Singh, previously the Inspector-in-Charge of Tiwaripur, has now been appointed as the Inspector-in-Charge of Bansgaon. Meanwhile, Santosh Kumar Awasthi, formerly the Inspector-in-Charge of Bansgaon, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Inspector-in-Charge of the AIIMS police station. Furthermore, Chandra Prakash Pandey, previously the Inspector-in-Charge of AIIMS, has been appointed as the Inspector-in-Charge of Gola, a key police station within the district.
New Responsibility at Tiwaripur Police Station
Continuing this sequence of changes, Sub-Inspector Vikas Kumar Singh, previously the In-charge of the Jangal Chhatradhari outpost, has been given a promotional responsibility and appointed as the Station House Officer (SHO) of Tiwaripur. As the Tiwaripur police station is considered a crucial station within the urban zone, this particular appointment has become a significant topic of discussion.
A Significant Reshuffle from an Administrative Perspective
This reshuffle within the police department is being viewed as highly significant from an administrative standpoint. Experts believe that the SSP has taken this decision after carefully considering the officers' experience, working styles, and the specific requirements of each region. In particular, the new postings in key police station areas—such as Bansgaon, AIIMS, Gola, and Tiwaripur—are being regarded as crucial steps toward further strengthening the police administration.
Emphasis on Law and Order and Crime Control
It is noteworthy that in recent times, the police administration has appeared consistently active regarding crime control, the maintenance of law and order, and addressing public grievances. In light of this, it is anticipated that the new deployment of officers will enhance operational efficiency at the police station level and result in improved policing services for the public.
Directives Issued to Ensure Immediate Compliance
The order issued by the SSP's office explicitly directs all concerned officers and branches to ensure immediate compliance with the transfer orders. Following these changes within the police department, all eyes will now be fixed not only on the officers' new responsibilities but also on their work ethic and operational style.
