
Anuragha P Assumes Charge as Chief Vigilance Officer at Chennai Port Authority (Img: Internet)
Chennai: Senior IAS officer Anugraha P on Monday assumed charge as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Chennai Port Authority. In new role in the Chennai Port Trust, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, she is expected to ensure transparency, accountability, and vigilance of the day to day activities.
Anugraha is a 2011-batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre and prior to this she served as a Director in the Department of Pharmaceuticals.

She will hold the CVO post till September 3, 2029 or until further orders, according to the official press release. Anugrha had earlier worked as a District Collector in MP.
In that role, she had worked on several grassroots initiatives in areas like social welfare, education, and digital governance. As Chennai Port CVO her primary responsibility will be to oversee mechanisms that prevent corruption and ensure adherence to ethical practices within the organisation
