Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle: Centre Transfers 31 IAS, 18 IPS Officers of AGMUT Cadre

The central government has ordered the transfer of 31 IAS and 18 IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre with immediate effect. Issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the reshuffle includes major postings involving Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa and other Union Territories.

New Delhi: The Central Government has issued orders for the transfer of 31 IAS and 18 IPS officers in a major administrative reshuffle within the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territory) cadre. The order was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and all transfers will be effective immediately.

The reshuffle covers states and union territories such as Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, Chandigarh, Puducherry, and Andaman and Nicobar. A large number of senior officers have been transferred out of Delhi, while several officers have been assigned new responsibilities in Delhi.
