56 IAS Officers reshuffled in Jharkhand (Source: Internet)
Ranchi: In a major administrative shake-up, as many as 56 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been reshuffled, which includes new postings, transfers, and the assignment of additional responsibilities, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Out of 56 officers, 32 IAS have been transferred, Eight officers have been given additional charge and 16 officers have been posted.
The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Raj Bhasha issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday night.
According to the notification, Special Secretary of Finance Department Rajeshwari B has been transferred as Director of Panchayati Raj; Special Secretary of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department Shashi Prakash Jha has been transferred as Campaign Director of National Health Mission.
Special Secretary of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Neha Arora has been transferred as Special Secretary of Health Department. Arora has been given additional charge of Executive Director, Jharkhand State Health Society and Project Director, Jharkhand AIDS Control Society.
Similarly, Sandeep Singh, Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation has been transferred and made Special Secretary of Finance Department. Singh has also been given additional charge of Director, Audit Directorate, Finance Department, and Director, Pension and Accounts Directorate, Finance Department.
Ravi Ranjan Kumar Vikram has been made the Labour Commissioner of Ranchi. He has also been given additional charge of Planning and Training Director; Special Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Manohar Marandi has been made Special Secretary of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department. Marandi has been given additional charge of Mission Director of Swachh Bharat Mission.
Labour Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Besra has been made Transport Commissioner; JPSC Secretary Akshay Kumar Singh has been made Special Secretary of Planning and Development Department; Registrar of Cooperative Societies Suraj Kumar has been made Director of State Urban Development Agency SUDA. Kumar has also been given additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of Smart City and Managing Director of Jharkhand State Housing Board.
Aditya Kumar Anand has been made Director of Animal Husbandry; Sushant Gaurav has been made Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation. Gaurav has been given additional charge of Vice President of Regional Development Authority.
Bhor Singh Yadav has been appointed Director of Agriculture Department; Manoj Kumar Ranjan has been appointed Director of Primary Education; Sudhir Bara has been appointed Director of Higher Education, Sandeep Kumar has been appointed Secretary of JPSC; Raj Kumar Gupta has been appointed Additional Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Department; Garima Singh has been appointed Managing Director of Jharcraft; Himanshu Mohan has been appointed Joint Secretary of Home Department; and Vijay Kumar Sinha has been appointed Director of Social Security.

Arava Rajkamal, Secretary, Building Construction Department, Managing Director, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited, Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Building Secretary, Mines and Geology Department, Secretary, Industries Department, Jharkhand, Chairman, Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation Limited has been given additional charge of Mines Commissioner; Mrityunjay Kumar Baranwal has been given additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Jharkhand State Watershed Mission along with MNREGA Commissioner.
Kiran Kumari Pasi has been given additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Tejaswini Project along with Director, Social Welfare.
Karn Satyarthi has been given the additional charge of Settlement Officer, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur along with Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur and Administrator, Suvarnarakha Project, Jamshedpur; Sameera S has been given the additional charge of Settlement Officer, Deputy Commissioner, Palamu.
