New Delhi: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday approved a major reshuffle in the top ranks of the Union bureaucracy, effecting key secretary-level changes across several crucial ministries.
Full List of Key Appointments:
1. Sanjay Lohiya appointed as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance (to take charge after May 31, 2026).
2. Chanchal Kumar appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
3. Sanjay Jaju appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
4. Tejveer Singh appointed as Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petro-Chemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
5. Nivedita Shukla Verma appointed as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances; also given additional charge of Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare.
6. Bharat Harbanslal Khera appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) (to take charge after April 30, 2026).
