Major IAS reshuffle in Rajasthan
Jaipur: In a major administrative shake-up, the Rajasthan government has transferred 65 IAS officers in one of the largest reshuffles in recent times. As part of this overhaul, Collectors in 25 districts have been replaced, signaling a significant restructuring of the state’s administrative machinery.
A key highlight of this move is the near-complete revamp of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, where almost all officials-except the Principal Secretary-have been changed. This step is being seen as a strategic decision aimed at strengthening governance and administrative efficiency.
Among the prominent changes, Tina Dabi has been transferred from Barmer to Tonk, a politically significant region associated with Sachin Pilot, where she will take charge as District Collector. Meanwhile, her sister Ria Dabi has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister.
In other key postings, Jitendra Soni, previously Jaipur Collector, has been moved as Director of Information and Public Relations. Sandesh Nayak will now serve as Jaipur Collector.
