Lucknow: The round of transfers is continuing in Uttar Pradesh. Five officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) have been transferred on Sunday with immediate effect. At the same time 11 PCS officers have retired from their post, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The Inspector General of Police (Personnel) has issued a notification of the transfer of these officers on Sunday morning. In this notification, the transferred officers have been asked to immediately go to the new posting and take charge.
IPS Sujit Pandey (RR-1994), Additional Director General of Police, PAC, Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has been appointed Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow.
IPS R.K. Swarnkar (RR-1996), who was Additional Director General of Police, APTC, Sitapur has been made Additional Director General of Police, PAC, Headquarters, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
IPS Ashish Tiwari (RR-2012), who was Superintendent of Police, CID, Lucknow has been given new responsibility as Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur.
IPS Rohit Singh Sajwan (RR-2013), who was Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur will now be posted as Superintendent of Police, Attached, Headquarters Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh.
IPS S.B. Shiradkar, (RR-1993), who was Director General of Police/Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow has been assigned the responsibility of Director General of Police, Police Promotion and Recruitment Board, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
With effect from 30 June, 11 senior Provincial Civil Service (PCS) officers will retire from their services. These officers served in various districts including Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Badaun, Kanpur Dehat and Pilibhit.
Among them, Lucknow Additional Commissioner (Additional Commissioner) Ram Bharat Tiwari and Gorakhpur Additional Commissioner Hariom Sharma will retire after their illustrious service.
From Gorakhpur itself, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purushottam Das Gupta and Sub-District Magistrate (DDC) Raj Narayan will also retire.
Ayodhya Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Satish Kumar Tripathi and Lucknow Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Hanuman Prasad are also going to retire.
Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Rajiv Pandey (2013 batch) in Badaun, Sub-District Magistrate (SDM) Mahendra Kumar of Kanpur Dehat and Sub-District Magistrate Ranjit Kumar (2018 batch) of Ambedkar Nagar will also retire on June 30.
The name of Saurabh Shukla, working as Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) in Pilibhit, is also included in the list. Apart from this, Gorakhpur's Additional Commissioner Kunwar Bahadur Singh (2007 batch) will also retire on June 30."
