
Massive transfers in UP health department
Lucknow: In a significant move aimed at strengthening the state’s healthcare administration, the Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major reshuffle in the Health Department.
Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) have been transferred in over 21 districts, bringing fresh leadership to several key areas.
The new postings are expected to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of healthcare services across the state. The reshuffle has created a buzz within the Health Departments of the affected districts, with officials gearing up for a smooth transition.
Varanasi: Dr Mukesh Kumar takes charge, overseeing healthcare in this high-priority district.
Ghaziabad: Dr Sachin Chandra Vaishya has been appointed as the new CMO.
Ambedkarnagar: Dr Pramod Kumar steps in as the district’s CMO.
Jalaun: Dr Harinandan Prasad assumes the role of Chief Medical Officer.
This large-scale administrative reshuffle is being viewed as a strategic step by the UP government to strengthen the state’s healthcare infrastructure and ensure better governance at the district level.
