Lucknow: A video of IPS officer Vinayak Gopal Bhosale, currently serving as SP (City) in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has gone viral on social media. Known for his strict policing style and zero-tolerance approach towards crime, the officer was seen issuing a stern warning to a gangster’s family during a flag march in the city.
IPS Officer’s Tough Message Goes Viral
During a large-scale flag march conducted in Meerut on Wednesday, SP City Vinayak Gopal Bhosale reached the residence of a gangster named Salman along with a heavy police force.
A nearly 49-minute-long video from the visit is now being widely shared online, drawing attention to the officer’s fearless and direct style of policing.
In the video, Bhosale can be seen firmly warning the gangster’s family against any attempt to disturb law and order in the city. His strong remarks and confident approach have sparked discussions across social media and bureaucratic circles.
Clear Warning to Criminals
Although gangster Salman was not present at the house during the police visit, the IPS officer addressed his family members and instructed them to convey a strict message to him.
Bhosale stated that anyone trying to disrupt peace in Meerut would face strict legal action. He made it clear that the police force had not arrived there for formality, but to ensure law and order is maintained at all costs.
He further warned that if Salman or any of his associates were found involved in illegal activities, the administration would take action strong enough to serve as a lifelong lesson.
Warning of Property Attachment Under Gangster Act
In a sharp message aimed at criminals, the SP City said that luxurious houses and expensive vehicles built through illegal activities would not remain untouched for long.
He warned that proceedings under the Gangster Act, including property attachment, financial penalties, and other strict legal measures, would soon follow against those involved in criminal activities.
According to the officer, the administration’s message is clear - no criminal is above the law, and anyone attempting to disturb public peace in Meerut will face severe consequences.
Who is IPS Vinayak Gopal Bhosale?
Vinayak Gopal Bhosale is a 2022-batch IPS officer originally from Pune, Maharashtra. He completed his graduation in Public Administration and Political Science before joining the Indian Police Service.
During his training period, he was posted in Muzaffarnagar. Later, he served as CO City and Additional Superintendent of Police in Sitapur.
At present, he is serving as SP City Meerut and has quickly earned a reputation for his strict administrative style, quick decision-making, and tough stance against crime.
His latest viral video has further strengthened his image as a fearless police officer known for taking strong action against criminals.
