Buzz Started for New CMD of NTPC

New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has started the entire process of selection of new Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC).

The selection will be conducted through video conferencing (VC) in the morning for two hours 08:30 to 10:30 on 21st May by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).

As per information total twelve candidates including a serving IAS officer have been shortlisted for the interview. Who are:

1. Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel) NTPC
2. Bhupender Gupta, Director (Technical), THDC
3. Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations) NTPC
4. Shaswattam, Executive Director, NTPC
5. Somes Bandyopadhyay, Managing Director, GSECL
6. Kapil Kumar Gupta, Director (Finance), MMTC
7. Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing), Coal India
8. Ajit Kumar Panda, Director (Project & Services), Container Corporation of India Limited
9. Thangarajan Subhash Chandira Bosh, Executive Director, REC Power
10. Rajil Srivastava, Executive Director Project Management, Power Grid
11. IAS Sanoj Kumar Jha, (SK:97), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal
12. Abhay Arun Harne, Director (Projects), Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited

After the selection of one candidate PESB will send the name to ACC for approval.
