Gold rates in India moved upward on April 16, reflecting a broader positive trend across major cities. Both 22-carat and 24-carat gold recorded modest gains compared to the previous trading session, indicating sustained market strength.
At the national level, 22-carat gold is now priced at Rs 14,310 per gram, up by Rs 20. For 8 grams, the cost has increased to Rs 1,14,480, marking a Rs 160 rise. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold stands at Rs 15,026 per gram, gaining Rs 21, with 8 grams priced at Rs 1,20,208-up by Rs 168.
