Air India plane makes emergency landing due to engine fire indication

An Air India spokesperson as saying that flight AI2913, which took off from Delhi to Indore on August 31, returned to Delhi soon after takeoff, as the cockpit crew got a signal of fire in the right engine.

New Delhi: An Air India plane flying from Delhi to Indore had to make an emergency landing immediately. According to the information, the cockpit crew got a signal of fire in the right engine.

After which, keeping in mind the safety standards, the plane was turned back to Delhi, where it could land safely. It is being told that the passengers are being transferred to an alternate plane.

An Air India spokesperson as saying that flight AI2913, which took off from Delhi to Indore on August 31, returned to Delhi soon after takeoff, as the cockpit crew got a signal of fire in the right engine.

He further said that following the standard procedure, the cockpit crew decided to turn off the engine and returned to Delhi, where the plane landed safely. The plane has been stopped for inspection, and the passengers are being transferred to an alternate plane, which will soon operate a flight to Indore.

Many problems have come up before

It is worth noting that many cases of technical problems have come up in many Air India planes in the recent past. Earlier on August 18, a flight from Kochi Airport to Delhi had a problem, after which the plane had to land back immediately after takeoff.

At the same time, earlier an Air India plane coming from Milan to Delhi had a technical problem, after which that flight had to be canceled. Due to this, passengers had to face a lot of problems. Due to the continuous problems in the planes, passengers are facing a lot of inconvenience.
