Cricketer Yash Dayal files complaint against rape accuser, alleges extortion of ₹8 lakh and conspiracy

Cricketer Yash Dayal has said in his complaint that in the year 2021, he got acquainted with a girl from Pratapgarh through Instagram. After this, the girl took money from him from time to time on the pretext of treatment, college fees and shopping.

Ghaziabad: IPL cricketer Yash Dayal is once again in controversy. After a named case was registered against him on the charge of rape, now he himself has made several serious allegations against his female friend, a resident of Pratapgarh, by filing a complaint in the Khuldabad police station. Yash Dayal has claimed that after borrowing about Rs 8 lakh from him, he is now being threatened to commit suicide and implicate him in a false case.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, cricketer Yash Dayal has said in his complaint that in the year 2021, he got acquainted with a girl from Pratapgarh through Instagram. After this, the girl took money from him from time to time on the pretext of treatment, college fees, and shopping. Yash says that the girl had promised that she would return all the money by May 2025. Recently, he got information from social media that the same girl has filed a complaint of rape against him in the Indirapuram police station of Ghaziabad. In this complaint, a case has been registered against him under section 69 of the BNS.

Accused of forming a gang and trapping people

The cricketer has alleged that the woman, her three associates, and 5-10 other people are running an organized gang, which traps innocent people in false cases and extorts money from them. He also alleged that the woman had also stolen his laptop, iPhone, and other valuables on the pretext of meeting.

Allegations of pressure for marriage and mental torture

Yash Dayal has also written in his complaint that when he asked the woman to return his money, she threatened him that if he did not marry her, she would commit suicide. Not only this, the woman also threatened to abuse his parents and kill him. He said that he has been mentally broken by this entire incident and is under medical supervision. Calling it a well-planned conspiracy, Yash Dayal has demanded to register a case against the female friend and others. The complaint has been given through his advocate.

Girl alleges sexual exploitation

In the same case, on June 21, a girl from the Indirapuram area of ​​​​Ghaziabad had complained on the chief minister's portal and accused cricketer Yash Dayal of sexual harassment. The girl says that she had become friends with Yash Dayal on social media since November-December 2020, which later turned into a meeting. She also stayed at the cricketer's house several times and was promised marriage.

Yash Dayal accused of having relations with many girls

The victim alleged that in 2022, when Yash Dayal became a part of the Gujarat Titans team and the team won the title, she was also present at the final match with his family. But later the cricketer had relations with many more girls and distanced himself from them. Despite the complaint, when no action was taken, the victim resorted to social media.

Police registered a case

When Yash Dayal did not respond to the police notice after the complaint, on July 7, Ghaziabad Police registered a case against him under Section 69 of the BNS. This section considers having sexual relations on the basis of false promises of marriage or a job as a crime, which is punishable by imprisonment up to 10 years and a fine. It comes under the category of non-bailable and non-compoundable crime.

Police investigation continues

On this entire matter, City Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abhishek Bharti said that Yash Dayal has given a complaint through his advocate, in which he has said that he has been implicated in a false case. The matter is being investigated.
