Gurdeep, a wanted accused with a reward of Rs 50,000
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) arrested Gurdeep, a wanted accused with a reward of 50,000 rupees, in case number 172/24 registered at Jewar Police Station, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The accused was apprehended on November 14, 2025, at 2:30 pm from TPS Company, Chopanki Police Station, Bhiwadi (Rajasthan).
A case of fraud worth crores of rupees
It is worth noting that Gurdeep, along with his associates, prepared forged documents in the name of the actual land owner and fraudulently registered agricultural land in the Jewar area, defrauding him of crores of rupees.
A case has been registered in this matter at Jewar Police Station under sections 420/467/468/471/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, in which he had been absconding for a long time.

Success due to STF's intelligence
The STF, engaged in the search for absconding criminals, received information from an informant that Gurdeep was present in the Bhiwadi area.
Under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Mishra and the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Navendu Kumar, the STF Noida team and the Jewar police conducted a joint operation and arrested the accused.
Following his arrest, he was brought to the Jewar police station after registering the necessary records at the Chopanki police station.
Many revelations revealed during interrogation
During interrogation, Gurdeep (approximately 35 years old) revealed that he is a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan and had conspired with Mangat Singh (Palwal, Haryana), Jaswinder Singh (Sare Khurd), and Phumman Singh (Haryana) to commit the fraud.
