Car falls off flyover on railway tracks
New Delhi: A speeding car fell from the Mukarba Chowk flyover onto the railway tracks near Haiderpur Metro Station on Sunday morning. The driver Sachin Chaudhary, who escaped with minor injuries on his shoulder and face, is a resident of Ghaziabad, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outernorth) Hareshwar Swami said in a statement that the car has been removed.
The driver of the car Sachin Chaudhary told the police that he lost control of the car on the flyover crossing. He told the police that 'he was travelling from Peeragarhi to Ghaziabad when he lost control of the vehicle on the stretch of the flyover crossing the railway lines.'
Officers rushed to the spot and found the vehicle overturned on the railway track opposite the Haiderpur metro station, below the ring road. The car was removed immediately, ensuring no disruption in train services.

The driver, Sachin Chaudhary (35), a resident of Pratap Vihar Railway Colony in Ghaziabad, suffered minor abrasions on his shoulder and face but did not require hospitalisation.
Choudhary told police he was on his way to Ghaziabad from Peera Garhi when he lost control of the vehicle on top of the flyover. The vehicle hit the pavement, overturned over the railings, fell down a grass-covered slope and landed upside down on the tracks. He is under medical examination and no one else was injured.
Police also found a motorcycle near the tracks from Saturday, for which no complaint or accident has been registered so far. Efforts are on to trace the owner of the motorcycle. Officers clarified that there is no connection between the abandoned motorcycle and Sunday's car accident.
