Gang of making fake cheese
Noida: Noida Police has exposed the gang that is endangering the lives of people in NCR. Police have arrested four people of an interstate gang selling fake paneer. 14 quintals of fake paneer and material for making paneer were seized from the spot. Police have started investigating this matter.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, the Sector 63 police station arrested four accused. According to the information, the police said that the driver had come to Noida with his two helpers to supply 14 quintals of paneer in a Mahindra pickup. During this time, they were caught by the police.
The accused were making two types of paneer from painting color, chemicals, agri products, and refined oil in a factory in Sahajpura village of Aligarh for the last six months. The main accused is out of police custody. The accused told the police that they were selling it in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad at Rs 180 and Rs 220 per kg. It was costing Rs 35-40 to make it.
DCP Central Noida Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that DCP of the Central Noida Zone Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that on Saturday the police team got information that some people make fake paneer and sell it in Delhi-NCR. People of this gang are going to come to the Sector-63 area with a Mahindra pickup.
The police laid a trap and arrested Gulfam, Naved, Ikhlaq, and Guddu, residents of Sahajpura village of Aligarh. Ikhlaq was driving a Mahindra pickup, in which there was about 1400 kg of paneer in a blue plastic drum.
Fake cheese making material seized
During interrogation, the accused told them that Guddu, alias Rish, and his brother Afsar run a fake paneer factory in their village. Accused Guddu told during interrogation that to make paneer, they first used to soak Sortex Clean in water. After this, they used to mix two bags of 25-25 kg of Sortex Clean in eight quintals of water or separate liquid. They used to add painting color to make paneer white.
After this, the chemical from the blue box was added, and the mixture was torn so that it could take the form of paneer. After this, this mixture was tied in a cloth and put in cold water. After this, the cloth was pressed and the water was squeezed out. After this, refined oil was added to make the paneer creamy.
The police recovered from the spot the machine used in making paneer, a mixer grinder, two packets of Dholpur fresh skimmed milk powder of 25 kg each, five packets of Reed Bull Premium Quality Agri Product Sortex Clean, two tins of 15 kg each of refined palmolin, four kilograms of blue color, and two bottles of poster color.
The police have sealed the factory making fake paneer and registered a case against the five accused under sections of adulteration, knowingly selling harmful food items, and misleading.
