Gunfire outside YouTuber Elvish Yadav home in Gurugram; Investigation launched

Three men on a motorcycle approached Elvish house, police claim. While the other two fired numerous rounds before fleeing one of them dismounted the bike a little earlier.

Gurugram: Gunfire was heard outside the home of well-known YouTuber Elvish Yadav in the early hours of today morning. Unknown assailants on a bike fired roughly 24 rounds close to his Wazirabad village home at 5:30 AM. Sushma Yadav Elvish's mother was present at home when it happened.

Police Investigation Began

Police in Sector 56 are looking into the matter. Three men on a motorcycle approached Elvish house, police claim. While the other two fired numerous rounds before fleeing one of them dismounted the bike a little earlier.

Housekeeper Saw Firing

When the housekeeper saw the firing, he became frightened and fled inside. At once Master Ram Avtar Elvish's father was notified. The attackers fired continuously before running away according to Master Ram Avtar who told the police. He also attested to the fact that Elvish was not home at the time of the incident.

Police At The Spot

The police arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the complaint and started their investigation. Attackers are captured on CCTV as bullets strike walls. There are obvious bullet marks on Elvish Yadav's homes walls. Fortunately the attack did not injure anyone.

The CCTV cameras that were installed at the house managed to capture the attackers. To examine it further police took the CCTV DVR. To avoid any more incidents the house has been made more secure. Police are still awaiting additional evidence but they believe the attack may have been related to gang activity. They are closely analyzing the circumstances to determine the precise cause of the shooting.

Elvish Yadav Other Cases

When Elvish Yadav appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss he gained popularity. But throughout the years he has been a part of a number of scandals. Elvish recently challenged a charge sheet against him but the Allahabad High Court denied his petition. Due to his alleged drug use and distribution of drugs laced with snake venom at a rave party he is currently facing legal action. More information is anticipated as the police continue their investigation.

In the meantime the local authorities continue to prioritize Elvish Yadav and his family's safety.
