Gunshots Outside Shiv Sena UBT Office in Thane, Leader Pradeep Purnekar Shot Dead

Mumbai: A Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Pradeep Purnekar, was shot dead outside the party office in Maharashtra’s Thane on Tuesday night, triggering tension in the area. Police said unidentified attackers opened fire on Purnekar, following which he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Attack Took Place Outside Party Office

The incident took place in the Manpada area near Ghodbunder Road in Thane. According to officials, Purnekar suffered serious injuries after being allegedly shot during the attack. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors could not save him.

Police Begin Investigation
