Man Kills Family of Five in Gurugram

New Delhi: In a disturbing incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and four children in Wazirpur village of Gurugram before attempting to end his own life, officials said on Sunday. The accused is currently undergoing treatment at a civil hospital.

Victims Include Woman and Four Children

The victims have been identified as a 35-year-old woman and four children aged 14, 12, 10, and 8. The incident has left residents in shock, as the family had been living in the area for several months.

Accused Attempts Suicide

According to the officials, after allegedly committing the crime, the accused slit his wrist in an attempt to die by suicide. He was rushed to a hospital and remains under medical care. Police identified him as Nazim, a native of Moradabad, who worked as a salon operator in Gurugram.

Domestic Strife Suspected

Preliminary investigations suggest that domestic issues may have led to the crime. Police said the incident is believed to have taken place between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Authorities are examining all possible angles to understand the motive behind the killings.
