This is the same furnace in which iron is melted. On getting the information of the incident, MLA Manoj Yadav, SDO Johan Tudu, SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal and Thanaprabhari Inspector Aabhas Kumar reached the factory. The officials inspected the blasted furnace and talked to the workers present there.
The workers told that no worker has died due to the blast and neither has anyone been injured. The blast did not happen with a loud sound, but the furnace was punctured. Clear information was not given about how many workers were working in the shift.
The workers working in the shift from 8 pm to 8 am had come out. The workers of the morning shift were coming to work when this incident happened.
SDO Johan Tudu, SDPO Ajit Kumar Vimal and SHO Inspector Aabhas Kumar said that prima facie there is no information of anyone being killed or injured, but investigation into the matter is ongoing.
