Head Constable Zulfikar Ali Dies in Doda Car Accident While Heading to Duty

Jammu: A tragic road accident in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir claimed the lives of a police head constable and his wife, while their two children were injured on Friday.

Car Falls Into River Near Basti Village

According to officials, the accident occurred near Basti village in the Bhaderwah area. The family was traveling in a Maruti Alto when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The car skidded off the road and rolled into a nearby river.

Head Constable Zulfikar Ali

Officials confirmed that Zulfikar Ali of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and his wife died in the accident. Their two children sustained injuries in the crash.

Injured Children Hospitalized

Authorities said Zulfikar Ali was on his way to duty when the accident occurred. The injured children were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where they are currently receiving medical care.

Police Launch Investigation

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further details are awaited as officials continue their probe.
