On Sunday, Shivam, son of tobacco businessman KK Mishra, a resident of Arya Nagar, and his driver Mohan were traveling in a Lamborghini to Bithoor to attend the wedding of Kritika Mishra, the IAS officer daughter of Dr. Diwakar Mishra, the state coordinator of the Educational Institutions Cell of the BJP.
The Lamborghini Revolt then collided with an auto-rickshaw and a Bullet near the Bhaironghat intersection, hitting an electric pole. The car then ran over the Bullet. During the collision, Taufiq Ahmed, a resident of Chamanganj Ghosiana, who was standing there, was thrown off the road.
He sustained an injury to his left leg. Vishal Tripathi and Sonu Tripathi, who were riding the Bullet, were also hit, but are fine. Mohammad Taufiq filed a complaint regarding the incident and filed a case based on the car number.
The lawyer claimed the driver was behind the wheel
However, the police claimed the businessman's son, Shivam Mishra, was driving the car at the time of the incident, naming him an accused in the case. While businessman KK Mishra and his lawyer Dharmendra Singh Dharmu claimed that the businessman's driver, Mohan, was driving the car at the time of the incident, Taufiq reached a settlement with the driver, stating that he had received financial compensation from the driver and therefore would not take any action. However, the police considered Shivam Mishra to be the driver at the time of the incident.
