Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Rescue team member reveals severe head injuries, Deleted chats under probe

Fresh details have emerged in the alleged murder of Pune-based realtor Ketan Agarwal, with a rescue team member claiming that the 25-year-old was found with severe head injuries and multiple bruises after falling into a gorge at Lohagad Fort.

Police allege that Agarwal’s death was not an accident but part of a planned conspiracy involving his fiancée Siya Goyal and her alleged partner Chetan Chaudhary. Investigators claim the two plotted to push Agarwal off a cliff at Lohagad Fort on June 18.

Rescue Team Found Body In Gorge

Sunil Gaikwad, who was part of the team that recovered Agarwal’s body, said the rescue team reached Lohagad Fort after receiving information about the incident.

“On reaching Lohagad Fort, we discovered a deceased boy with severe head injuries, including a crushed skull, and multiple bruises on his limbs. He had died. We retrieved the dead body and carried it out through the jungle, though we had some difficulty lifting it on the steep slope,” Gaikwad said.

Operation Lasted Nearly Two Hours

According to Gaikwad, police received the emergency call at around 10.30 am on June 18. The retrieval operation continued until around 12.30 pm, and the body was shifted to an ambulance by about 1.30 pm.

The difficult terrain and steep slope reportedly made the recovery operation challenging for the team.

Police Suspect Planned Conspiracy

Investigators believe Ketan Agarwal was deliberately pushed from the cliff. Police have accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary of plotting the murder.

The case has gained major attention after several details emerged about the relationship between Siya and Chetan and their alleged plan to eliminate Ketan before his wedding.

Deleted Chats Being Examined

As the investigation progresses, police have found what they describe as another important lead. Investigators claim both accused deleted their chat history before and after the alleged murder.

Police also suspect that messages stored in the phones’ recycle bins were deleted. Forensic experts are now trying to recover deleted chats and digital records from their mobile phones.

Digital Evidence Key To Probe

Police are relying heavily on call records, deleted messages and forensic analysis to establish the sequence of events before and after Ketan Agarwal’s death.

Further investigation is underway, and officials are expected to record more statements in connection with the case.
