Two shooters arrested in firing case
New Delhi: Delhi Police claims to have arrested the two shooters who opened fire at Disha Patani's house in Bareilly on 12 September. While the incident caused a sensation throughout the city, the police have successfully apprehended the criminals after diligent efforts. Weapons have also been recovered from the arrested shooters, and they have been charged under the Arms Act.
Both the arrested accused, Nakul and Vijay, are residents of Baghpat district. It is reported that they were attempting to spread terror by firing a short distance from Disha Patani's house on the night of 12 September. However, the firing was only in the air, and the family was not injured.

The arrested shooters are said to be associated with the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs. These two gangsters had ordered the main shooters, Ravindra and Arun, to fire. Police stated that Ravindra and Arun were later killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad.
Like these two, Nakul and Vijay also had a bounty of Rs 1 lakh each. This bounty will now go to the Delhi Police.
SSP Anurag Arya stated that Bareilly Police contacted Delhi Police and secured the arrest of both shooters. Delhi Police will now take them on remand and conduct rigorous interrogation. Action will also be taken to issue B warrants against both.
The Bareilly Police entrusted the investigation of the case to the Special Task Force (STF) team, which played a key role in apprehending the criminals by gathering continuous inputs.

The firing near Disha Patani's house on the night of September 11th created an atmosphere of fear in the area. Although no major incident occurred, the incident created a sensation in the entire area. The police immediately tightened security and intensified the investigation.
According to the police, two unidentified motorcycle-borne attackers opened fire at Jagdish Patani's residence at around 3:30 pm 12 September. As soon as the incident was reported, the police team immediately reached the spot and investigation of the case was started. Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya said that five teams have been formed under the leadership of SP City and SP Crime for investigation so that the accused can be traced and arrested soon.
