Prison Cell Bombshell! 90 Porn Videos, Women’s Photos Found on Prajwal Revanna’s Seized Phone

A mobile phone allegedly recovered from Prajwal Revanna’s prison barrack reportedly contained 80-90 porn videos. The device has been sent for forensic examination after a CCB search.

Bengaluru: Former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna has come under fresh scrutiny after authorities allegedly recovered a mobile phone containing dozens of pornographic videos from his barrack at Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.

The phone was seized during a surprise search operation conducted by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) targeting high-profile inmates.

According to reports, investigators examining the device found around 80 to 90 downloaded pornographic videos along with other digital material.

Phone Sent for Forensic Examination

The recovered mobile phone has been sent for detailed forensic analysis. Investigators are expected to examine the device’s usage history, download details and other stored information.

Police sources said the device allegedly contained Indian pornographic content and newspaper clippings featuring women in revealing clothing.

Authorities are now trying to determine how the prohibited device entered the prison and whether other individuals were involved.

Jail Officials Face Action After Recovery

The recovery has also triggered action against prison authorities. Assistant Superintendent Iranna Rangapur has been suspended following allegations of negligence.

The Bengaluru Central Prison Superintendent has also received a show-cause notice, while a departmental inquiry has been initiated.

Officials recovered not only a mobile phone but also a pen drive and charger from Revanna’s barrack during the operation.

Investigation Into Prison Security Breach

A fresh FIR has been registered at Parappana Agrahara police station in connection with the recovery. Another inmate, identified as Pratap Rai, has also been named in the case.

Investigators are examining how mobile phones continue to enter prisons despite security measures and signal-jamming systems.

Prajwal Revanna’s Legal Cases

The development comes amid ongoing legal proceedings against Revanna. He is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted in a rape case.

The case gained national attention during the 2024 Lok Sabha election period after alleged explicit videos linked to him surfaced. Revanna has denied the allegations and claimed that the videos were manipulated.

Authorities are now separately investigating the prison phone seizure and possible violations of jail rules.
