New Delhi: Recently, once again the incident of smartphone blast has come to the fore, which has scared the users again. Actually, this time a user on Reddit has recently told about a scary incident, in which his Google Pixel 6a suddenly blasted while charging. The user told that the accident happened when he was sleeping deeply and the phone was kept just a short distance from his head.

The user also told in the post that I woke up to the sound of a loud explosion and the smell of burning. As soon as I looked, the phone was on fire. After this, I quickly caught the phone from the cable and threw it on the ground, but by then the bedsheet had burnt. In such a situation, if you also charge your device overnight, then the phone can become a bomb...

Do not make these 5 mistakes
Charging the phone by keeping it on the pillow or bed
Many people even today charge the phone on soft surfaces which can prove to be very dangerous, this causes problems in the heat sink and the battery can explode due to overheating.

Local or duplicate charger
It has also been seen that some people use fake or cheap chargers due to which such incidents happen. Therefore, always use the company's charger.

Do not keep it near the head while sleeping
Never keep the phone near your head or pillow while charging. This habit of yours can prove fatal some day.

Ignoring overheating
Some people ignore it even when the phone is overheating. If the device is heating up repeatedly or the battery is swelling, then do not charge it. Instead, take the device to the service center first.

Do not leave it on charging continuously
Avoid overnight charging as much as possible. It is not right to leave the device on charging overnight. This is dangerous for both the health and safety of the phone's battery.
