Telangana: 20 killed several others injured after bus-truck collision in Rangareddy

Amaravati: At least 20 people were killed, 20 are undergoing treatment in hospital, and three were seriously injured in a tragic road accident in Rangareddy.

The impact was so severe that the truck's cargo fell on the bus. With the help of local people, the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital. Police arrived at the scene and began relief and rescue operations.

Police stated that the primary cause of the accident appears to be the truck driver driving in the wrong direction. The driver is currently being identified, and a case has been registered and an investigation has been initiated.

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Expresses Condolences

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed deep grief over the road accident in Chevella Mandal, Rangareddy district. According to the Chief Minister's Office, the CM has directed officials to immediately reach the scene and initiate relief and rescue operations.

Revanth Reddy has ordered the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police to immediately bring all those injured in the bus accident to Hyderabad and arrange for their best possible treatment. He also directed that all information related to the accident be provided to him from time to time.

The Chief Minister has also asked the ministers present to immediately reach the site to monitor the relief operations.

He spoke to RTC MD Nagi Reddy and Ranga Reddy District Collector over the phone and directed them to provide immediate high-level medical care to the injured. The minister directed officials to make all necessary arrangements and provide all possible assistance to the affected families.
