British MP condemns
British MP Preet Kaur Gill has strongly criticized this incident. According to Preet Kaur, "This is a heinous crime. It is also a case of racial discrimination, in which the victim was told that she does not belong to this country. All communities, including the Sikh community, have the full right to feel safe. An incident like Oldbury should not take place anywhere in Britain."
Racial attack happened earlier too
However, this is not the first time that hatred towards the Sikh community has been seen in Britain. About 1 month ago, 3 youths beat up 2 people of the Sikh community on the road outside Wolverhampton railway station, the video of which also went viral on social media. During this, a Sikh's turban was also removed, due to which a lot of anger was seen among the local people.
