Bulandshahr: A bully driver of Thar hit four people killing an elderly woman and injuring three others here in Bulandshahr on Monday night, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The Thar driver got angry at being stopped from driving at high speed and hit 4 people in the village. The incident took place in village Sunhera of Bulandshahr Dehat Kotwali area.

Some people of the village were standing on the road and were trying to stop the person driving at high speed. Meanwhile, the angry driver drove his Thar over them, uncontrollably, after which there was a stir in the whole village.

'The driver perhaps got upset when some people waiting on the road tried to ask him not to drive with such a high speed and in a fit of anger he ran his Thar on the villagers...,' said a police official.

Old Woman Died, 3 Injured

The people nearby immediately took all four of them to the local health center, where first aid started. According to the information received, the old woman's injuries were so serious that the doctors declared her dead. At the same time, three other injured persons have been referred to the district hospital for treatment. Their treatment is going on and the doctors are considering their condition critical.

Demand For Strict Action Against Accused

After the incident, tension arose in the village and local residents demanded strict action against the accused. As soon as the information was received, the force of many police stations including top police officials reached the spot. The police started the investigation and inspected the spot and recorded the statements of witnesses.

FIR Registered

An FIR has been registered against the accused Dabangg in Kotwali Dehat and the police is taking action to arrest him.

The police has assured that understanding the seriousness of the matter, it will take appropriate action and arrest the accused as soon as possible. At the same time, the family members of the deceased woman have pleaded for justice and have also sought help from the local MP and MLA.

The local administration has increased the deployment of police to maintain peace in the village.
