New Delhi: Delhi is increasingly witnessing a surge in violent crimes and gang-related incidents, with the city’s Northeast area emerging as a hotspot. On December 16, two brothers, Mohammad Fazeel, 31, and Nadeem, 33, were shot dead in broad daylight in Jafrabad. The attackers fired a total of 45 rounds at the victims, leaving the police exhausted as they collected evidence at the crime scene. Witnesses described a tense atmosphere, with local residents living in fear following the brutal attack.

Investigations have revealed that the victims were allegedly associated with a weapons supply gang led by Salim Ahmed, known as Salim Pistol, a prominent arms dealer in India. The police suspect that the attack was orchestrated by the victims’ cousin, Asad Qureshi, who acted as the mastermind behind the assault. Authorities are now probing links to a larger weapons smuggling syndicate, while residents and law enforcement continue to grapple with the growing threat of gang violence in the area.
