Haryana: A heart-wrenching incident in Panchkula has shaken the entire region. A debt-ridden family took a drastic decision to end their lives, and all 7 members committed suicide by consuming poison. This incident took place in Sector 27's Mansa Devi Complex. Where the family members were present in their car parked outside the house.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, neighbors and police officials who reached the spot say that at around 10:30 pm, seven members of the family were put to sleep in a Hyundai Aura car parked outside the house. One person was found alive, who was immediately taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared him dead.

These people committed suicide.

The deceased include Praveen Mittal, his wife Reena, mother Vimla, father Deshraj, twin daughters Himshikha and Dalisha (11), and son Hardik (14). Praveen was originally a resident of Barwala in Hisar. He had started a tour and travel business in Dehradun, in which he suffered losses.

There was a debt of about 20 crores.

Neighbors say that Praveen had a debt of about 20 crores. He was also getting death threats. His scrap factory in Hisar was seized by the bank. A few days ago, the family returned to Panchkula and rented a house.

The neighbor was shocked when he saw it.

Harsh, a neighbor present near the house, told the police that he was in his house at around 10:30 pm on Monday night. Then he saw that a car was parked outside, in which many people were present. When he went closer and looked, one person was alive in it. The rest were lying unconscious.

The person told his name as Praveen Mittal and said that he had come to listen to the story of Dhirendra Shastri. He slept in the car because he could not find a hotel. When he got suspicious after seeing his condition, he immediately informed the police.

"I am bankrupt; all this has happened because of me."

The neighbor said that Praveen was shivering and vomiting in the car. He was given water, and he was told that he had a huge debt. Everyone informed the police, and Praveen was taken to the hospital, where he died. In the two-page suicide note found by the police, it is written, "I am bankrupt. All this has happened because of me. Do not tell anything to my father-in-law. My maternal uncle's son will perform the last rites."

Praveen's family is from Barwala in Hisar. His cousin Sandeep said that Praveen had a debt of Rs 20 crore. He was doing tour and travel business in Dehradun, but it went into loss. Father-in-law Rakesh Gupta said that Praveen had taken a loan of Rs 1 crore about 10 years ago. These days he had started driving a taxi. The family believes that the burden of debt was very heavy on Praveen, and due to this stress, he took this step of suicide.

The bank seized the factory.

Praveen's wife Reena's sister Rakhi Gupta said that the bank had declared Praveen a fugitive. The family was worried for the last few months. Praveen's maternal uncle's son Sandeep said that Praveen had shifted from Hisar to Panchkula about 12 years ago. He had a scrap factory here, which was seized by the bank. He had a debt of about 20 crores.
