Amit Shah Targets Congress and RJD in Darbhanga, Highlights BJP’s Work on Article 370 and Ram Temple

During a rally in Darbhanga before Bihar elections, Amit Shah praised Modi government’s achievements, including Article 370 abrogation, Ram Temple construction, and welfare schemes. He criticized Congress and RJD for inaction on national security and highlighted development in Mithila region.

Darbhanga: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Darbhanga just before the Bihar Assembly elections. He addressed a public meeting there, sharply criticizing the Congress and RJD (Lalu Yadav's party).

Amit Shah said that if the Congress and Lalu Yadav's governments had continued, Article 370 would never have been abrogated from Jammu and Kashmir.

Emphasis on Mithila and Religious Issues

In his speech, Amit Shah also mentioned the development and respect for the Mithila region. He said that the central government has done several things for this region:

• Maithili language was included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
• Madhubani painting was given a GI tag to give it international recognition.
• A Makhana Board was created to support local farmers.
• A grand temple of Sita Mata is going to be built here.

He also said that Ramlala, who was residing in a tent in Ayodhya for 550 years, has now been installed in a magnificent Ram temple, and this is all thanks to the BJP government.

Sharp Attack on Congress and RJD

Amit Shah said that the Congress and Lalu Yadav's party protected Article 370 for years and never tried to remove it. He said that it was only under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that it became possible for Jammu and Kashmir to become an integral part of India.

He said, "Earlier, when terrorists attacked India, there was no response. But now the Modi government kills terrorists by entering their homes."

In this way, he conveyed the message that the Modi government takes a tough stance on national security.

Action Against PFI

The Home Minister also mentioned the PFI (Popular Front of India) in his speech. He said that during the Congress governments, no restrictions were placed on this organization.

But the Modi government banned the PFI in a single night, raided more than 100 places, and sent many people to jail.

He promised that as long as the BJP is in power, PFI members will not be allowed to come out of jail. Mention of Schemes for the Poor and Farmers

In his speech, Amit Shah mentioned the Modi government's schemes, stating:

• The poor of the country are receiving free treatment up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
• The government is working towards providing every poor family with a permanent house.
• Farmers are being given ₹6,000 annually under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
• Under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 85.2 million people in Bihar are being given 5 kg of free food grains.

In this rally in Darbhanga, Amit Shah clearly conveyed the message that the BJP will approach the public on issues of development, religious faith, and security.
