Bihar Election: Campaigning ends today for 122 constituencies in 2nd and last Phase

Patna: Voting for the second phase of the Assembly elections will be held on 11 November for 122 seats in 20 districts. Election campaigning for these seats will end today evening at 5, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

In all 45,399 polling stations have been set up. Some of the districts where the voting will take place on 11 November include West and East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Arwal, Kaimur, and Rohtas districts.

1st Phase Polling

The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections saw a 65.08% voter turnout, the highest ever in the state's history, the Election Commission announced on Saturday. According to the latest data released by the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) office, a record 65.08% of the 3.75 crore eligible voters exercised their franchise in the November 6 polls. This is 7.79% more than the 57.29% voter turnout recorded in the 2020 Assembly elections.
